holy crap

i hate it when people, especially catholics, treat the holy week as time for their long awaited vacation. hello! we're supposed to commemorate the passion of Christ, his death and resurrection as the very foundation of our salvation, not to enjoy ourselves bathing under the sunny summer sky! we have the next two or three months to enjoy the sun, but we only have this week to reflect on the meaning of the season.

can we just not go to the beach and do god knows what, and go to a place of prayer and reflect instead? jeez.

my officemate said it was his fearless forecast that the bar results will be out this coming friday.

i nearly dropped dead right in front of him. jeez.

good thing there was a mass in equitable tower. haay.

scared

i just submitted the first freakin counter affidavit that i drafted for the firm, and i'm nervous as hell. "keep it short and simple" has never been one of my strongest points in college and in law school. im afraid that im getting back the paper complete with red marks all over. shoot. there goes my pride. argh. ;p
